Oklahoma Football Camp
It is a great honor to be the head football coach at
the University of Oklahoma. As one of the most successful
programs in the history of college football, OU strives
for championships each and every year.
In 2007,
we won our fifth Big
12 Championship, increasing our overall number of conference
championships to 41. Since 2000, we have won more games
than any other team in the country, including a National
Championship, the Orange, Rose, Cotton, and Holiday
bowls, and have played in all four BCS bowls.
During
that span, OU has produced 16 national award winners,
23 NFL draft choices, 24 All-Americans, 59 All-Big
12 selections, and 58 academic honorees. As you can
see, Oklahoma continues to have a tremendous impact
on the landscape of college football.
I invite you and your teammates to attend our summer
football camp. As a young football player, you will
have an opportunity to experience first-hand the great
tradition established at Oklahoma, and will benefit
from one-on-one interaction with our energetic and
successful coaching staff both on the field and in
the film room.
We will stress fundamentals of the game, as well as
those of strength and conditioning, and you'll be exposed
to the explosive offense and aggressive defense we
play at Oklahoma.
By spending a few days on campus, you can take advantage
of some of the finest facilities in the nation. We
hope to see you this summer, and we thank you for the
opportunity to be a part of your development as a football
player.
