| As one of the most successful programs in the history of college football, OU strives for championships each and every year. In the last 13 years, Oklahoma has won more games than any other program in America. The Sooners captured the 2000 National Championship, notched 180 weeks in the Top 25, played in 13 bowl games (eight BCS), taken part in four national championship games and earned seven Big 12 Conference championships -- more than double any other Big 12 team. Also during that 13-year span, OU has produced 27 national award winners, 52 NFL draft picks, 33 All-Americans, 86 first-team All-Big 12 selections, and 59 academic honorees. In 2010, we were especially proud to have four first-round NFL draft picks, including three of the top four selections. As you can see, Oklahoma continues to have a tremendous impact on the landscape of college football. We invite you and your teammates to attend our summer football camp so you will have an opportunity to experience first-hand the great tradition established and continuing at Oklahoma, and benefit from one -on-one interaction with our energetic and successful coaching staff. We will stress fundamentals of the game, as well as those of strength and conditioning, and you'll be exposed to the explosive offense and aggressive defense we play at Oklahoma. |
